Is it 'coz I is black?

Just having returned from alanindyfed's ex-blog I am a little concerned at the new imagery that he uses in order to promote his extreme views.

There are two images of, presumably, Alan's choice of representative imagery for the Nationalist cause.

The first image, pin sharp, shows some rather 'foxy' and sylphlike caucasian ladies proudly displaying their Welshness in their Welsh flag frocks.

The second image, somewhat pixellated, shows some barely distinguishable ladies, including a black lady, wearing the Union flag.

It immediately becomes apparent to me, that in Alan's Nationalistic Nirvana there is no place for black people. I wonder why?

I have previously indicated to Alan that he himself is the descendant of a black man and he chooses not to respond. I again wonder why.

His imagery is labelled "Take your pick, Wales or the Union".

It logically follows that Alan's choice of people to represent the imagery of Nationalistic Wales appears not to include any black people.

These pictures have painted many words in my mind that lead me to think that there may be some sinister sub-agenda with Alan's Nationalist fervour.

Again, I ask that some 'official' representative of Plaid Cymru, Cymdeithas or Cymuned either support or condemn Alan's operations which appear to be entirely on their behalf.

Anyone care to comment?

Nice to see that people are staying away from Alan in Dyfed's blog, or at least not commenting on his new posts. He now has about four new posts that have no comments, and if people want to have their say, they are using the old posts.

They're not commenting on them because they're crap. They always were. It's nothing to do with you being "banned", Johnny.

In view of the clear disinterest within the Nationalist faction in commenting on Alan's blog and its content, one can only assume that they fully support his description of Welsh soldiers in the British Army as 'mercenaries'.

It further shows that they also support the imagery that is published in their name which seems to exclude black people.
Alan is, after all a Press Officer for Plaid and presumably posts with their full encvouragement and consent.

I really think that Plaid needs to assess the damage that is being done to their cause by their clear support of such discriminatory publicity.

Johnny,

To my knowledge, Alun isnt a press officer of Plaid Cymru, not an 'he is employed by Plaid' sense, care to divulge?

Mr. Hardly.

Divulgence as requested, in unedited or redacted form.

Please find appended below a copy of the letter sent by Alan Jones to the Western Mail this week.

Kindly note that at no time have I described him as being "employed by Plaid". I have merely stated that he was "Press Officer".

In fact, Alan openly boasted that he was sending the letter.

In it he clearly describes himself as Press Officer:

"SIR. Despite government denials, the highly dubious adventure which George Bush and Tony Blair led us into is an unmitigated disaster.
Now comes the delicate exercise of extricating the army from Iraq.
Hundreds of millions of pounds have been squandered in the attempt to impose Western democracy upon an Arab state substantially different in cultural, political and religious outlook.
What was the plan for administering Iraq following the successful invasion?
What was the strategy for melding the diverse religious and political elements, to ensure harmony and co-operation for the purpose of rebuilding the nation and installing stable government? Apparently nobody understood the complexities of Arab and Islamic culture and the aspirations of the Iraqi people.
The government eventually set up a puppet government, unrepresentative of the various political and religious groupings.
Far from creating a
stable democracy in Iraq the allied interference has produced chaos and confusion.
Why are Welsh forces battling under the unrepresentative flag of the Union, and losing gallant soldiers by the dozen?
Of what concern to Wales is this foreign war, a war which does not threaten Wales in the least?
As an independent nation Wales would be threatened by nobody, but also Wales would not be a threat to anybody. In the whole of past history the only threat to Wales has come from England.
Democracy cannot be imposed from without. It has to evolve as a natural and desired growth from within.
ALAN JONES
Press Officer, Plaid,
Porth Tywyn/Penbre new branch,

Dyfed"

Having divulged, care to comment?

Johnny, I really don't know why you waste your considerable talent, not to mention pixels, on a lunatic wanker like Alan.

His so-called "blog" is read by almost nobody (doesn't even register a zero on Google stats).

He doesn't need your comments to prove to the world he is an A1 twat. Just let him carry on producing his boring, infantile garbage.

Concentrate on your own polemic and let the pillock twist in the wind.

I really needed that, Nonny.

You're absolutely right.

I must be honest, I do find some of his responses to my posts to be a little amusing but rather predictable.

I'll really have resist the tempation.

I would invite you to describe ANY Welsh troops in Iraq as mercenary, to their faces.

I would suggest that when they eventually come home, you make your insulting assertation then personally.

I am fully aware that the situation in Iraq is not as was expected.

However, this is quite easy for you to say with a shed-load of hindsight.

Do you have any sensible suggestion as to how the situation may be resolved, or are you just content to make Nonny postings which do little to help?

Socialist? Me? Hardly!

I am a firm proponent of the "None of these turkeys" Party, so maybe I could be described as an Anti turkeyist.

Of course this doesn't apply around Christmas time.

The continual low electoral turnout shows that the N O T T Party is on a roll.

er .... what's wrong with being a mercenary. Half the British Army have quit to be mercenaries of one kind or another because of the shit wages and conditions that your bloody Labour party has imposed on them.

Nothing at all wrong with being a mercenary, if that's what you wish.

Of course, mercenaries are outside of the normal Military status enjoyed by enlisted troops.

Just how many of these mercenaries are currently held by insurgent groups, their fate, as yet, undetermined? Risky business. I wish them luck, that's about all that I can do.

Labour? Nowt to do with me pal.

Vote "None Of These Turkeys" at the next election.

Your pal.

johnny.
